Cost by Customer Report
The Cost by Customer Report is a detailed report that shows the incurred costs for a particular customer transaction For example, material costs and shipping, etc. They appear on a line-by-line basis and by customer. The report includes the following data:

transaction name

transaction date
-
line item description
-
line item quantity
-
line item amount per unit
-
line item cost
This report totals quantity and cost per customer. It also includes an overall total line for all listed customers.
To view the Cost by Customer report:
Click an amount in the Total Cost column of the Customer Profitability Summary or Customer Profitability Detail report. For instructions to access these reports, see Customer Profitability Summary Report and Customer Profitability Detail Report.
If you click a customer's amount, details appear for that customer only. If you click an overall total amount, details appear for all customers.
From the Cost by Customer Report, if you click the Back to Summary link, the Customer Profitability Summary report displays.
