Campaign Lines

This page is accessed via

  • Trade Agreements > Campaigns. Then click New Campaign Line.
  • Trade Agreements > Campaign Lines.

A campaign line represents an individual item from a specific supplier. Use this page to create, view, or modify an existing campaign line.

Header

Note: Trade Agreement, Effective Date and Expiration Date information will be displayed from the related campaign.   

Adding a Campaign Line:

  1. Enter a unique identifier in the Campaign Line ID field. You will use this ID when you refer to this campaign line on other pages.
  2. Select a domain in which this campaign line will be active from the Domain Name drop-down list.
  3. Enter a campaign ID in the Campaign ID field.
  4. Enter additional information about campaign line in the Purpose field.
  5. Enter the trading partner item ID in the Trading Partner Item ID field.
  6. Enter item description in the Trading Partner Item Description field.
  7. Enter a party site ID in the Party Site ID field.
  8. Enter a product classification code that is used for the campaign line in the Product Classification Code field.

Note: Configure the "DISPLAY PRODUCT CLASSIFICATION DETAILS" logic parameter to display this field. For details, see Logic Configuration - GTM Campaign Configuration.

  1. Enter a country code in the Country of Origin field.
  2. Enter a date in the Origin Effective Date and Origin Expiration Date fields.
  3. Enter a description of the line in the Line Description field.

Qualification Details

Note: A supplier will use this section to define qualification details.

Adding Qualification Details:

  1. Select an option from the Qualified drop-down list to indicate whether or not the item qualifies for a trade agreement.
  2. Enter an ID in the Preference Criteria ID field.
  3. Enter an ID  in the Regional Value Content Method ID field.
  4. Enter producer details in the Producer field. An example of a producer is a manufacturer.
  5. Enter a date in the Qualification Effective Date and Qualification Expiration Date fields.

Values

Use this section to add information about values to campaign line, based on the value qualifiers you select. You can add as many value qualifiers as you need.

Adding a Value Qualifier:

  1. Select a value qualifier from the Value Qualifier ID drop-down list.
  2. Enter a value in the Value field and select a currency from the corresponding drop-down list.
  3. Select an exchange rate from the Exchange Rate ID drop-down list.
  4. Select the date from Exchange Rate Date.
  5. Click Save.

Involved Parties

Use this section to record parties involved in this campaign line such as buyers and suppliers, etc. You can add as many involved parties as you require.

Adding an Involved Party:

  1. Select an involved party qualifier from the Involved Party Qualifier ID drop-down list.
  2. Enter the name of the party in the Involved Party field.

Note: The address information of the involved parties will be displayed in both the View and the Edit windows.

  1. Click Save.

Remarks

Use this section to add as many remarks as you require.

Adding a Remark:

  1. Select a remark qualifier from the Remark Qualifier ID drop-down list.
  2. Enter your remarks in the Remark Text field.
  3. Click Save.

Reference Numbers

Use this section to record reference numbers that apply to this campaign line. You can add as many reference numbers as you require.

Adding a Reference Number:

  1. Select a reference number qualifier from the Reference Number Qualifier ID drop-down list
  2. Enter the reference number in the Reference Number field.
  3. Click Save.

Notes

Use this section to record any additional information. You can add as many notes as you require.

Adding a Note:

  1. Enter a summary in the Summary field.
  2. Enter a detailed description in the Note field.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click Finished.
