Honoring Tolerance Percentage During Substitution

During RF Pack{oblpn}, the system allows you to substitute inventory within the min/max threshold percentage, as long as the substituted LPN is allocated for an order that the original LPN can fulfill.

The following are some examples of tolerance percentage during substitution:

Example 1:

The Location has 2 LPNs:

LPN LPN Quantity LPN Status Order Allocated
LPN1 100 Allocated order 1
LPN2 90 Allocated -

You substitute LPN1 with LPN2. Because LPN2 meets the tolerance limit and it is not allocated to an order, you can substitute.

Order Order Quantity Min % Max %
order 1 100 10 10

Example 2:

The Location has 2 LPNs:

LPN LPN Quantity LPN Status Order Allocated
LPN1 100 Allocated order 1
LPN2 90 Allocated order 2
Order Order Quantity Min % Max %
order 1 100 10 10
order 2 100 10 10

The Location has 2 LPNs: you substitute LPN1 with LPN2. Because LPN2 meets the tolerance limit for order 1 and LPN1 meets the tolerance limit for order 2, the allocation can be exchanged and you are allowed to substitute.

Example3:

LPN LPN Quantity LPN Status Order Allocated
LPN1 100 Allocated order 1
LPN2 90 Allocated order 2
Order Order Quantity Min % Max %
order 1 100 10 10
order 2 90 10 10

You try to substitute LPN1 with LPN2. Even thought LPN 2 is within the percentage tolerance for Order 1, LPN 1 is NOT with in the percentage tolerance for order 2. Therefore, Substitution is not allowed.
