Public LLMs

This topic provides an overview of the public LLMs supported in the DB Assistant module.

In addition to Oracle Select AI, the DB Assistant module also utilizes other popular AI models provided by public LLM providers such as OpenAI, Google, Cohere AI, Hugging Face, and Anthropic among others. You can choose from any of the supported language models and use AI credentials to securely access the AI profiles corresponding to a language model, and start interacting with DB assistant. Providing a natural language input in the chat box generates an AI response as processed by the selected public LLM.

Public LLMs have access to tools and services (access is approved or denied by the user/administrator) to facilitate gathering and processing of source codes, datasets, and corresponding metadata along with other connection information.
