Understanding ANMS Schemes
Overview of ANMS Scheme Creation
ANMS schemes are created from an ANMS switching sheet template. While very similar to planned switching sheet, the ANMS sheet type provides an ANMS Conditions tab where you can set trigger conditions for a selected SCADA device.
The steps to create an ANMS scheme are as follows.
1. Click the new switching sheet button () on the Web Workspace toolbar.
2. In the New Switching Sheet dialog box, select the ANMS Template row.
3. Click Create.
4. In the new ANMS Template sheet, select the ANMS Conditions tab and enter the triggers that will create an ANMS event. See “Entering Conditions in the ANMS Conditions Tab” for details.
5. Add switching steps to the Steps tab.
6. Select the Request tab and choose the sheet specific ANMS Mode. By default it will be in the Disabled mode. Select the mode (Manual or Automatic) to process the scheme. See “Understanding ANMS Modes” for details.
Note: The Global ANMS Mode is displayed in the Web Workspace Status bar. Administrators may change the global ANMS Mode by selecting the Web Workspace Tools menu, and then selecting the ANMS Mode from the DMS Settings menu (see DMS Settings on page 2-7 for details).
Understanding ANMS Modes
ANMS Modes control the processing and execution of ANMS schemes. Schemes may be disabled or executed automatically or manually by configuring these modes. ANMS has two types of modes.
