Searching for Duplicate Policies

Duplicate policies are those policies which meet the following conditions:

  • The status of the policies is set to In Force/Active.

  • The policy number and source system of the policies are same.

  • The policies have either same or overlapping date range.

Procedure

To search for duplicate policies:

  1. Click the Admin link in the Application toolbar.
    A list appears.
  2. From the Admin menu, click H and then click Health Check.
    The Health Check screen appears.
  3. Expand the Duplicate Entity zone.
  4. Select the Policy option from the Entity list.
  5. Select the date range to retrieve the policies which are duplicate within the given period.
    Note: The specified date range should not exceed one year. For example, if the start date is 01-01-2025, then the end date cannot be later than 12-31-2025.
  6. Click Search.

    The search results appear based on the specified search criteria. The Search Results section contains the following columns:

    Column Name Column Description
    Policy Number Indicates the policy number.
    Policy Displays information about the policy.
    Note: It has a link. On clicking the link, the Policy screen appears where you can view the details of the respective policy.
    Source System Indicates the external system from where the policy information is received.
    Start Date Displays the date from when the policy is effective.
    End Date Displays the date till when the policy is effective.
    Create Date/Time Displays the date and time when the policy is created in the system.
    Note: Pagination is used to display limited number of records in the Search Results section. You can use the navigation links, such as Previous and Next to navigate between pages. Note that the navigation links appear in the Search Results section only when the records in the search results exceed 20.
