Create and manage queries
- Understand query statuses
The status of a query helps users identify whether they need to take action for that query. - Create a query
Create queries on collected data for data review. You have three options for queries: candidate queries, visible only to sponsor users; assigned queries, which you can assign to specific user roles (either site or sponsor); and site queries, visible to and assigned only to site users. - View and monitor queries
There are different ways to find and monitor queries. You can view all queries for a subject from the queries sidebar, or you can view the complete history of all queries associated with a specific question. - Open or delete a candidate query
After evaluating a candidate query, you can either open the query so that it can be assigned to a site user, or you can delete the query if the query is no longer applicable. This procedure also applies to rollover studies. - Review a query, and either close or re-open it
After a site answers a query, you should review their answer, and then either close the query (if the answer is acceptable) or reopen the query (if the conversation with the site must continue). This procedure also applies to rollover studies. - Re-assign a query
During query review, you can allow users with different roles to the review and manage the query by re-assigning it to users with other roles. - Manage all queries in the Query List
The Query List page allows you to manage all queries in a study in one place. - Lock a question or query
Sponsor users can lock questions and queries to prevent users from editing subject data. - Unlock a question or query
Sponsor users can unlock questions and queries that have been previously locked to prevent users from modifying subject data.
