Re-assign a query

During query review, you can allow users with different roles to the review and manage the query by re-assigning it to users with other roles.

Data managers and other users with permissions associated with query management can manage all queries from the Query List page. The queries you see and the allowed actions depend on your specific permissions. Refer to Sponsor and Site permissions - Study Management.

Sponsor users can assign answered queries to user roles with the following query management permissions:
  • Close Auto-Queries
  • Closed Queries Opened by my Role
  • Close All Queries

You can also re-assign open queries to roles assigned the Answer Assigned Queries permission.

  1. On the Home page, Access your study in a specific mode.
  2. Along the top, make sure Queries is selected, and that you're on the Queries List page.
In the Query List, the Assigned User Roles appears for queries listed under all views: To Do, Unresolved Queries, and Closed.
    • For an Assigned query, this column shows the user role(s) it is assigned to.
    • For Site queries, this column defaults to Site.
    • For answered Oracle Central Coding queries, this column defaults to Central Coding.
    • For answered auto-queries, this column defaults to System unless manually re-assigned to a different study role.

      Note:

In reports, Oracle Clinical One Analytics datasets, and APIs, answered auto-queries that in the UI show assigned to System, show as assigned to the role which the auto query was initially opened to.
  3. Filter the Query List as needed.

    Note:

Filters applied to a list of queries remain unchanged when you navigate away from and return to the Query List page, as long as you don't switch views.
  4. Locate the query you would like to re-assign, and click the Actions drop-down.
  5. Select Re-Assign.
  6. In the Re-Assign Query dialog, enter the role(s) you would like to re-assign to.
  7. Enter a comment for the new assignee, then click Submit.
The Assigned User Roles column in the Query List displays the new study role assignment.
