1.3 Enabling Accessibility Features in the GNOME Login Screen

You can enable assistive features in the login screen of the GNOME desktop prior to logging into the system.

Click the Accessibility icon located on the bottom panel of the login screen to set the following preferences:

  • Use on-screen keyboard

  • Use screen reader

  • Use screen magnifier

  • Enhance contrast in colors

  • Make text larger and easier to read

  • Press keyboard shortcuts one key at a time (Sticky Keys)

  • Ignore duplicate keypresses (Bounce Keys)

  • Press and hold keys to access them (Slow Keys)
