The Admit Request RMIM represents an order placed by a certified practitioner for the admission of a patient to a healthcare facility and the creation of an encounter representing the provision of healthcare related service(s). The message specification allows the placer to specify information about staff members who are involved in patient care, transportation requirements, preferred accommodation, patient who has requested for an encounter, contact party to be notified in case of emergency, service delivery location, insurance, any supporting observations and/or annotations, and the reason for the encounter.
