7.73 Oracle VM Manager Upgrade Fails if Import URLs Too Long in Database

When upgrading Oracle VM Manager to Release 3.4, the upgrade process fails and the following error messages are written to the upgrade log files. This issue occurs if the URLs for imported objects in the Oracle VM Manager database are 512 characters or greater.

Internal Exception: com.mysql.jdbc.MysqlDataTruncation: Data 
truncation: Data too long for column 'ORIGIN' at row 1
ovm.installer ERROR    Error upgrading core 
database, upgrade cannot continue!

Workaround: There is no workaround for this issue.

Note

This issue affects Oracle VM Manager Release 3.4.1 build 1350 and is fixed in build 1369. This issue also exists if you upgrade from build 1350 to build 1369.
