Associating Charge Codes with Tax Codes

Perform the steps in the following procedure to associate a charge code with a tax code.

This task is performed as part of Charge Code Administration, which is a step in Process of Setting Up Charge Codes, Taxes, and Service Charges.

To associate a tax with a charge code

1. From the application-level menu, choose Navigate > Site Map > Tax Service Admin > Charge Codes.
2. In the Charge Codes list, query for the charge code, and then click the Taxes view tab.
3. In the Taxes list, click New.
4. In the Add Taxes dialog box, select the tax you want to associate with the charge code, and click OK.
5. Save the record.

   The remaining fields should be automatically populated with the property information.

Repeat Step 3 and Step 4 for each tax you want to associate with the charge code.
