Associating Charge Codes with Service Charges

Perform the steps in the following procedure to associate a charge code with a service charge.

This task is performed as part of Charge Code Administration, which is a step in Process of Setting Up Charge Codes, Taxes, and Service Charges.

To associate a charge code with a service charge

1. From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Tax Service Admin > Charge Codes.
2. In the Charge Codes list, query for the charge code and click the Service Charges view tab.
3. In the Service Charges list, click New.
4. In the Add Service Charge dialog box, select the service charge you want to associate with the charge code.

   The remaining fields should be automatically populated with the property information.

Repeat Step 3 and Step 3 for each tax you want to associate with the charge code.
