How to Install the Front Panel Indicator Board

  1. Align the holes in the indicator board with the two screw holes in the inside front of the chassis.
  2. Secure the indicator board to the chassis using the two screws.

    Torque screws to 7 inch-pounds (0.8 newton-meters).

  3. Connect the two flex cable connectors to the connectors on the front I/O board and the motherboard. Carefully align the connectors, then gently push down on the top of the flex cable connectors.

  4. Secure the flex cable to the front panel using the two screws.
  5. Install the fan tray carriage. See How to Install the Fan Tray Carriage.
  6. Install all CPU modules or CPU filler boards. SeeHow to Install a CPU Module or Filler Card .
