The DAF.Search.Base module includes a dynamoMessagingSystem.xml (Patch Bay configuration) file that declares the /atg/search/events/SearchMessageSource component as a message source, and also defines a number of message sinks.
If you want other message sinks to listen for search events, you can add your own dynamoMessagingSystem.xml file to your CONFIGPATH. You can also configure the ScenarioManager to listen for search events, if you want to use search events to trigger scenario actions.
