Italics

Introduces new terms and indicates emphasis.

Bold

Emphasizes important information, or indicates field names, menu items, or button names.

monospace

Indicates syntax examples, values that you specify, or results that you receive.

Brackets [ ]

Indicates optional items. For example, in the following statement: SELECT [DISTINCT], DISTINCT is an optional keyword.

The directory where you installed ATG 2007.3 is identified as <ATG2007.3Dir>.
