Environments that have Merchandising and Search installed can use a feature called Search Merchandising, which enables commerce sites to customize search results based on business initiatives and customer purchasing patterns. In Merchandising, you create search configurations, which contain rules and settings that affect how search results display to a specified group of customers. Language, user segment, and/or site can be used as dimensions for determining which search configuration to use for a given user.
