The procedures in this section explain how to disable or enable resource fault monitors, not the resources themselves. A resource can continue to operate normally while its fault monitor is disabled. However, if the fault monitor is disabled and a data service fault occurs, automatic fault recovery is not initiated. See the clresource(1CL) man page for additional information.
