This section describes an example of content group site override rules.

Note: The example in this section is based on Oracle ATG Web Commerce Reference Store, which is configured to illustrate best practices for setting personalization rules in a multisite environment. For information about installing Commerce Reference Store, see the Commerce Reference Store Installation and Configuration Guide. For details about Commerce Reference Store and its sample storefronts, see the Commerce Reference Store Overview.

Commerce Reference Store ships with a content group called NavigableProducts. Customers cannot navigate to non-navigable items in the catalog. The following illustration shows the default rule and the site override rule for the NavigableProducts content group. The default rule excludes all items whose parent categories include categories with the ID NonNavigableProducts. The site override rule for the CRS Home store excludes all items whose parent categories include categories with the ID NonNavigableProducts or homeStoreNonNavigableProducts.

The following illustration is described in the preceding text.
