Not all device types defined in recent releases of Oracle ILOM are recognized by the host agent, resulting in cases where the host agent generates a generic sunHwTrapComponent notification rather than a device specific notification (for example, sunHwTrapSlotOrConnector). This is due to a component error rather than a slot or connector.
Workaround
Use the NAC name from the MIB to determine the specific device for the notification.
