raidconfig Hangs When Disk Removed From SPARC Server (15826569)

This issue is fixed in Oracle Solaris 11.2 SRU 8.

If a disk that is part of a RAID volume is physically removed from a SPARC server, the raidconfig command hangs.

Workaround

1. Do one of the following:

   • Reboot the OS (recommended).

   • Wait for about 10 minutes.

2. Run the raidconfig command.
