Oracle Hardware Management Pack packages will install in all Oracle Solaris zones.
The Oracle Hardware Management Pack utilities in both Oracle Solaris 10 and Solaris 11 have limited or no functionality in non-global zones.
The following Oracle Hardware Management Pack utilities do not work in a non-global zone:
biosconfig
fwupdate
ilomconfig
itpconfig
raidconfig
ubiosconfig
hwmgmtcli
hwmgmtd (Management Agent)
This utility works only if the LAN interface is used in the non-global zone:
ipmitool
