General Ledger Export Files

The Standard Export process archives all general ledger export files in GLExport_Location ID_MMDDYY.zip. Each export file records the information as ASCII pipe (“|”)-separated variables, and each record is terminated with a carriage return/linefeed pair. The export process removes the pipe character from any strings to prevent parsing errors and ambiguity. The following table provides an overview of the General Ledger record types:
