Update basic data, i.e. programming, changing or clearing, is possible with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed for information.
This program provides an exact description of the credit cards stored in the system.

As with nearly all other programs the following also applies here:
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999
Enter no. of company on whose level the credit card to be described has been/is to be programmed.
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 99999999
Enter the no. of the issuer of the card concerned.
If the number is not known, the data record can be selected with the search function.
The issuers of credit cards are programmed and administered under Issuer.

Credit cards can be used for different purposes. The application area to which the card is to be assigned is defined with parameter ID no..
Open the selection by clicking on the button with the left-hand mouse key and activating the option required.
The MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application offers the following sectors:
An ID no. is linked to each application area and this is shown in the list field after storage.
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999
Enter the number under which the credit card is programmed in the system under Card type.
If the number is not known, the data record can be selected with Search.
Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 20 pos.
Enter a self-explanatory text for the selected application purpose of the card.
Entry range permitted: decimal max. 10 pos. with max. 2 decimal places
In addition to the Upper limit, an amount can also be entered here to define the limit as from which card payment has to be authorised.

This credit card will only be accepted if the amount entered here is exceeded.

The limit entered in this field should not be exceeded by a payment.
