The data of a PS 2 keyboard
can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program. Data
which has already been stored can also be displayed for information.
The interface and link to a
processing unit should be defined and the device-specific operating mode set.

unit. The keyboard type should be defined in update program PS2 keyboard type and the key codes are entered in

As with nearly all other
programs the following also applies here:
Entry range permitted:
numeric 1 - 9999
Enter an ID for this type
of keyboard.
Entry range permitted:
alphanumeric max. 30 pos.
Enter the name of this type
of keyboard.
Entry range permitted:
numeric 1 - 99
Enter the number of key
rows on this keyboard.
Entry range permitted:
numeric 1 - 99
Enter the number of key
columns on this keyboard.
Button active: If this option is active, every key
must be defined with all permitted key codes (Shift, Strg, Alt, Alt Gr).
Button deactivated: If this option is not active, the preset keys will
be ignored. In such a case the key codes must be obvious for every key.
