E-Voucher type

Remarks on program function

The data for E-Voucher types can be updated here, i.e. new data can be programmed, old data can be changed or cleared. The data stored to date can also be displayed for information.

Electronic Vouchers will be generated from a remote server. Therefor MICROS Retail OSCAR POS communicates with a voucher server to activate a voucher code for MICROS Retail OSCAR POS to print this code at the end of a receipt.

To use this function, a voucher server device from type "Alphyra" with a IP conection has to be configured. The necessary parameter settings are described in the document Electronic vouchers

Remarks on data fields

The following details all options available for update of the basic data.

The following applies to this program:

• The entry mask may differ in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the user program. Some data fields may be missing.
• Some data fields may have defaults or defined selection options so that they cannot be updated in this program.
• The entry mask may contain fields with enforced entries, and in other fields entries may be optional.
• If the data record is updated over several pages of entry masks the dialog window is reached by clicking onto the appropriate button with <Mouse key 1>.
• The procedure is the same if you want to call up another update program from this program.
• In some cases you may find the so-called. "Switches" which are either activated or deactivated - depending on the setting - by clicking with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches have a dark top, deactivated switches are lighter.

Company

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the company to which the E-Voucher type is to be linked. If this number is not known, the data record can be selected with Search.

E-Voucher type

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999

Enter the number under which this E-Voucher type  is to be/has been stored in the system.

If a new record is to be programmed, a free number should be entered in the key fields.

Changes or clear operations are possible after entering the number of the data record in the key fields. If the number is not known, it can be selected with Search.

Name

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 32 pos.

Enter the name of the E-Voucher type in this field. There are no restrictions for the name.

E-Voucher code

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 21 pos.

Enter the name of the E-Voucher code in this field. This code will be used to get the E-Voucher from the Server to print them at the end of the receipt. (see examples of E-Vouchers)

Logo number

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 21 pos.

Enter the number of the Logo which is stored at the printer. This Logo will be used for printimg the E-Voucher on a receipt.
