Bar Code Print (Section type)

Remarks on program function
The data for bar code print for a print section on receipt or form can be updated, i.e. created, changed or deleted, with this program. Data which has already been stored can be displayed.
Remarks on data fields
The following details all options available for update of the basic data.
The following applies to this program:
- The entry mask may differ in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the user program. Some data fields may be missing.
- Some data fields may have defaults or defined selection options so that they cannot be updated in this program.
- The entry mask may contain fields with enforced entries, and in other fields entries may be optional.
- If the data record is updated over several pages of entry masks the dialog window is reached by clicking on the appropriate button with <Mouse key 1>.
- The procedure is the same if you want to call up another update program from this program.
- In some cases you may find the so-called. "Switches" which are either activated or deactivated - depending on the setting - by clicking with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches have a dark top, deactivated switches are lighter.
Print form group
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the print format group for which the section type "Bar code print" of a print section is to be updated.
When a new record is programmed, enter a free no. in the Key fields.
If changes or deletions are necessary, call up the data record from entry of the numbers in the key fields. If you do not know the numbers, the data record can be selected with the Search function.
Print form
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999
Number of the print form linked to the section type "Bar code print" of a print section.
Print section
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999
Number of the print section under which the section type "Text section" is stored in the database.
Print section name
Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 20 pos.
Name of the print section. This is a firmly defined name and marks the print section for a specific printable object.
Condition
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999
This field contains the number of the linked print condition as per the section type.
The print conditions define for the section type concerned what is to be printed under which conditions on the receipt or form. This can be a simple condition or a complex one with various logical operands.
Print conditions are updated in program Print conditions.
Bar code data
Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 100 pos.
The name of the FGL function which generates the data for the bar code to be printed is entered in this field.
Note:
The appropriate parameters must also be updated in program Application -> Organisation -> Branch ->EAN parameter.
Barcode
Field with firmly defined selection options
The type of bar code is defined in this field.

Start position
Entry range permitted: numeric 0 - 999999
Enter a value in this field to define the spacing from the left-hand edge of the form (in tenths of a millimetre) for the bar code print.
Height
Entry range permitted: numeric 0 - 999
Enter a value in this field to define the height (in tenths of a millimetre) for bar code print.
Width
Entry range permitted: numeric 0 - 999
Enter a value in this field to define the width (in tenths of a millimetre) for bar code print.
Print as number
Button active: The number is
printed under the bar code
Button deactivated: The bar code no. is not printed
Number on top
Button active: The number is
printed at the top of the bar code
Button deactivated: The number is printed under the bar code
Rotation
Field with firmly defined selection options
The entry in this field defines the rotation for the bar code on receipt or form.
The following options are offered:
- 0 = bar code is not rotated
- 90 = bar code is rotated by 90 degrees
- 180 = bar code is rotated by 180 degrees
- 270 = bar code is rotated by 270 degrees
