Salesman

The following program description deals with:

Remarks on the Program Function

By use of this program you can maintain the basic data of the salesmen in the system, add new record, change or delete the existing ones.

In contrast to an operator, you can obtain reports relating to salesmen which have nothing to do with the accounting system.

A salesman is always assigned in the system with a unique salesman number to a company and branch. It is also mandatory for him to have an employee number.

Note:

Notes for supervisor and subordinate!

Inserting new records

Specify first the company and branch number. Enter then the employee number of the salesman. If this program is called from another input mask, the numbers and their designations will already be shown on the screen. To create a new salesman record, enter into the field Salesman an unused number. The entries of the other fields should then be entered. A detailed description of the fields can be found in the section of data field description.

Changing records

Retrieve the record of salesman by entering respectively the company, branch and salesman numbers in the key fields. The data of his record will be displayed on the screen. Move the cursor to the fields where changes have to be made. Do the changes and save the record back into the system.

Deleting records

After the record is displayed by entering its number, select the command delete from the Process menu or from the Toolbar. Note, that the record can only be deleted if all the requirements for deletion are fulfilled.
