Shrinkage

The following program description deals with:

Remarks on the Program Function

By use of this program, you can maintain the stock data for shrinkage and loss, i.e. create new data records, modify or delete existing data. You can also view already stored data for information purposes.

Attention:
Shrinkage can also be booked at the terminal if the function "SHRINKAGE" has been set up for a key. Shrinkage booked at the terminal can be closed at the administration terminal if it has not been closed at the terminal by use of the function "SHRINKAGEC".

Proceed as follows to carry out shrinkage at the administration terminal:

  1. In a first step, the formal data is entered via this update program to store the data record with a number given by the system.
  2. In the second step, the missing items are assigned to the "shrinkage" transaction via the program Shrinkage Position.
  3. After all recorded data has been stored, the transaction has to be confirmed via the button "Execute". The item quantities in stock of this shrinkage are reduced accordingly in the assigned stock.

Notes:
The Shrinkage is only completed correctly after the button Execute has been clicked on after saving.

 Button: Execute

The shrinkage receives the state "Confirmed".

Note:
After you have confirmed a shrinkage, you can still view the data but you cannot change it.
