Voucher

Note:
Vouchers can be dealt with company-wide, i.e. voucher which are sold in the branch of a sub-installation (store) can be cashed in in another sub-installation. The prerequisite for this feature is that the option "Company-wide voucher" has been set in program Company -> Add.data.

The voucher description is divided up as follows:

Voucher types

• The various types of vouchers are configured in program Parameter -> Misc.parameter -> Voucher type.

Voucher Issuing

• Handing out a voucher requires that the Finance Type Voucher has been configured. A general description of the parameter settings of the finance type Voucher can be found in the chapter Configuration of the Finance Type Voucher (Voucher Distribution).

Voucher cash-in (Voucher as a payment type)

• The voucher can only be cashed in via the configured Payment Type. A general description of the parameter settings of the payment type Voucher can be found in the chapter Configuration of the Payment Type Voucher (Voucher Cash-in).

Voucher as Deposit Receipt

• Vouchers are often configured in connection with a deposit receipt. Information on this can be found in the chapter Parameter Settings and Booking of a Deposit Receipt with Voucher Distribution.

Voucher in the Guest Check

• The paragraph Voucher in the chapter GC: Cash in  - Reactivation of the GC – new GC Account shows an example of how to
• cash in a voucher,
• close the GC
• open /reactivate it again for corrections.
  Subsequently, the new GC account is finalised.

5. Change the Voucher Text on the Receipt

• MICROS Retail OSCAR POS provides the option to change standard voucher text printed on the receipt ("Voucher No."). Further information can be found in the chapter Text Maintenance "Voucher No.".
