Viewing a Clone Origin (CLI)

Use the following procedure to determine the snapshot from which a clone was made.

1. Go to shares and select the project that contains the clone, then select the clone.

   hostname:> shares select myproject
   hostname:shares myproject> select demo_clone
   hostname:shares myproject/demo_clone>

2. Use the get origin command.

   The command returns the location and name of the snapshot from which the clone was made.

   hostname:shares myproject/demo_clone> get origin
   origin = myproject/demo_share@demo_snapshot
