Prepare for Installation

1. Gather the required tools.

2. Unpack the ship kit that includes the card.
   1. Unpack the card in a static-free environment.

   2. Remove the card from its packaging and place the drive on an antistatic mat, using good antistatic grounding procedures.

3. Carefully inspect the card for shipment damage.
