Jobs
Jobs are tasks to transfer data or to complete system tasks. You can manage and monitor jobs from the Jobs page.
Types of jobs
You can create the following types of jobs.
- Ingest jobs: Tasks to bring data into Oracle Unity.
- Export jobs: Tasks to send data out of Oracle Unity.
- Campaign jobs: Tasks to send segments to a marketing orchestration platform for use in a campaign.
- Delete jobs: Tasks to delete data from the data model or from Activation Snapshots.
- Data science jobs: Tasks to process data science models.
The following types of system jobs run in Oracle Unity.
- Publish: Implement all the changes you have made in Oracle Unity.
- Data warehouse job: A task to copy ingested data from staging to the data warehouse and complete data validation.
- Identity resolution job: A task to create a master list of customer records through deduplication, merge, and promotion. This job matches up customer data across multiple sources and ensures that customer records are not duplicated. Learn more about identity resolution and Master entities.
- Customer 360 job: A task to create customer profiles by matching attribute data to corresponding unique customer ID records.
