Manage and enrich data

CX Audience enables you to manage and enrich your marketing database. It enables you to easily gather your data into CX Audience and keep it up-to-date.

Manage your data: CX Audience provides three types of objects for modeling data: Customer Data Lists, Customer Profile Extensions, and Custom Data tables.

  • A Customer Data List is a table that defines customer contact data that tends to change infrequently, such as email addresses, postal addresses, and mobile numbers. It also contains your customer's cross-channel Opt-in permissions and deliverability status. A List starts with pre-defined system fields. You can extend the List by adding custom fields directly to it, or by creating Profile Extensions.
  • Profile Extensions are tables that extend your view of the customer. You can create multiple Profile Extensions per List. Profile Extensions can contain additional customer profile data, preferences, behaviors, or summary data.
  • Custom Tables are tables containing other types of data useful for creating segments. For example, they can be used for containing transactional data, costing scenarios, offline channel responses, sales orders, and the like.

Enrich your data: CX Audience enables you to enrich your data through integration with Datalogix. Datalogix provides third-party demographics and purchase behavior data. Datalogix data is not added to your data structure, but it is available when creating filters.

Create simple segments of your customer data: Filters are the building blocks for creating an audience, which represents a segment of your customers. Before you can create an audience, you must create two or more filters. Filters are created and managed in the Data section of CX Audience.
