Creating an event registration landing page
Important: The Oracle Eloqua WeChat app has been removed from the Oracle Cloud Marketplace and is no longer available for download. For customers with the app enabled, the app will remain active in its current form until December 1, 2022, after which the app will be sunset and no longer be available for use.
When creating a landing page with an event registration form to acquire WeChat followers' registration data, you must:
- Acquire the follower's email address in the form.
- Add the event ID as a hidden field and set its default value to the ID of the event.
- Acquire the follower's WeChat OpenID in the form.
- Specify a Status field with a default value of Registered.
- Collect followers' event registration data into their contact data profiles by updating contacts with form data.
- Collect followers' event registration data in a custom object that is mapped to the event.
- Create a landing page with a registration form. Alternatively, you can create a custom registration landing page with a registration form.
- Create a WeChat message that includes the URL of the landing page with the WeChat ID or WeChat profile identifier as a Read More link in a WeChat article or a Detail link in a template message.
- Create a WeChat campaign to send a message to the target audience.
