Measures for Mobile App Analytics

Important: The Mobile App Analytics dashboards are currently released under our Controlled Availability program. To request access to this feature, please log in to My Oracle Support and create a service request. Customers also need to have the Infinity Streams Cloud Service SKU to access this feature.

A measure is a numerical measurement representing the calculations gathered from your Oracle Responsys account and applied to your reports.

Important: To view the Mobile App Analytics dashboards, you must first enable this option in the Account settings.

Measures for Mobile App Analytics

This section describes all available measures for Mobile App Analytics dashboards.

  • New Users: Number of users who launched the app for the first time
  • Active Users: Number of users who launched the app at least once during the duration in question (this metric considers unique users)
  • Daily Active Users (DAU): Number of users who launched the app at least once in a day (this metric considers unique users)
  • Weekly Active Users (WAU): Number of users who launched the app at least once in a week (last 7 days) (this metric considers unique users)
  • Monthly Active Users (MAU): Number of Users who launched the App at least once in a month (last 30 days) (this metric considers unique users)
  • App Stickiness (DAU/MAU): What percentage of the monthly users are likely to return and use the app on a daily basis? This metric is an indicator of the app's stickiness. (App Stickiness = DAU / MAU expressed as a percentage)
  • Number of Sessions: Number of sessions. See the Infinity Standard Measures Documentation.
  • Average Session Length: (Total session length across all sessions) / (Total number of sessions)
  • Number of conversions: Number of conversions
  • Top 5 Conversion Events: Top 5 conversion events by number
  • Revenue: Total revenue
  • Purchases: Number of purchases made within the app
  • Average Order Value (AOV): Revenue per Order (Purchase). (Revenue / Purchases)
  • Top 5 Products Purchased (by Number): Top selling products by number
  • Top 5 Products Purchased (by Revenue): Top selling products by revenue
  • Bottom 5 Products Purchased (by Number): Least selling products by number (By Number: Products that have sold at least 1 Unit)
  • Bottom 5 Products Purchased (by Revenue): Least selling products by revenue (By Revenue: Products that have non-zero revenue)
  • Paying Users: Number of users that made at least one purchase during the duration in question (this metric considers unique users)
  • Daily Paying Users / Daily Purchasers (DPU): Number of purchasers in a day (this metric considers unique users)
  • Weekly Paying Users / Weekly Purchasers (WPU): Number of purchasers in a week (last 7 days) (this metric considers unique users)
  • Monthly Paying Users / Monthly Purchasers (MPU): Number of purchasers in a month (last 30 days) (this metric considers unique users)
  • Average Revenue Per User (ARPU): Average revenue generated by the app's active users during the duration in question (Revenue / Users)
  • Average Revenue Per Paying User (ARPPU): Average revenue generated by the app's paying users during the duration in question (Revenue / Paying Users)
