You don't see the Generate icon under the Actions column of the projects list, the project summary option in the Create menu, or the Project Summary tab in project records.

Your SuiteProjects Pro account configuration and your role affect whether you can view project summaries, modify a project summary, or generate a project summary. For more information, contact your account administrator.

You can't generate or edit the project summary.

  1. Your role affects whether you can only view project summaries, or you can also create, generate, and modify project summaries. Your role also affects which project you can create, generate, and modify project summaries for. For more information, contact your account administrator.

  2. When you have the relevant permissions, you can only edit the last project summary created for a project. Previous project summaries for the same project are read-only.

The Generate button is dimmed.

  1. To generate a project summary, you must include at least one of the reports as input data. In the Project summary panel, click Settings, click the switch for each report you want to include, and click Save, then try again.

  2. You may see this if you try another action when SuiteProjects Pro is still working. Wait for the project summary to update, and then try the action again if needed.

The Show project data button is dimmed.

You can only view the project data corresponding to the project summary after the project summary was generated. The Project data panel shows a snapshot of the reports included as input data when the summary was generated.

Report selection switches are dimmed under the Input project data section of the project summary Settings form.

  1. If only one report is included, the switch for this report is dimmed. It isn't possible to exclude the report. Include another report first before you can exclude this report.

  2. If all reports are unavailable, it isn't possible to generate a summary for the project. Reports may be unavailable for projects at a given project stage, or depending on your role. For more information, contact your account administrator.

When you click the Generate button, you see the message, "Quota exceeded."

Your account reached its usage limit over a moving monthly or 24-hour window. The message gives you an indication of how long you need to wait before generative AI functionality is available again.

Account administrators can verify the overall feature usage for the account. For more information, see AI Quota.
