Trigger Builds

Manufacturing Mobile offers the following options to trigger a build based on how often data needs to be pushed to NetSuite:

Real Time Builds

  • Support real time updates to inventory and costing.

  • Automatically record ERP transactions whenever you report consumption or production in the mobile scanner.

  • By default, the Real Time Build box is checked in the work order form and enabled for all types of work orders.

The Submit Work option is unavailable in the mobile scanner. No action is required to submit or process data in NetSuite.

  • To manually trigger when ERP transactions are recorded and disable real time build, clear the Real Time Build box.

The Submit Work option is available in the mobile scanner. You must tap this option to submit or process data in NetSuite.

    Note:

It is advisable not to disable the Real Time Build box. To set this box for all work orders at the account level, you can update the Default Real Time Build for Work Orders preference. See Manufacturing Mobile Preferences.

For more information, see Disabling a Real Time Build.

  • For non-WIP work orders, a real time build is triggered only when you report production. It is not triggered when you report consumption.

For WIP work orders, real time build is triggered for both consumption and production reporting.
