Configuring FSM Related Service Work
Configure the NetSuite controls that add related work and the FSM Mobile actions that create follow-up or new service work. The controls are independent. Enabling one does not enable the others. For the capability and processing behavior, see FSM Related Service Work.

Changing Available Creation Actions
Prepare an inactive copy of the current field service configuration record before applying an override. For preparation and validation, see Updating and Validating FSM Configuration.
To enable Add New Task on the FSM Mobile menu, set addable to true under routes/mobile:
{
"routes/mobile": {
"addable": true
}
}
To turn off Add Tasks on a case, set hidden to true under views/case/tasks. Other creation actions remain available.
{
"views/case/tasks": {
"hidden": true
}
}
For the full staging-field and option definitions, use FSM NetSuite View Configuration, particularly views/case/tasks, views/case/projects, and views/project/subprojects. For the collection that supplies project values during asset creation, see Configuring FSM Automatic Project Creation for New Assets. For FSM Mobile tab selection, see FSM Configuration. For resource and input properties, see FSM Mobile Resource Properties Reference and FSM Mobile Element (Block) Reference.
Dependencies and Customization Limits
The Project selector on a case distinguishes an existing project ID from a new type-... choice. Retain that distinction when changing option mappings. Removing required asset or date dependencies can prevent correct choices or creation.
The FSM Mobile menu action creates several related records through its built-in processing. Copying its visible form to another resource does not establish an equivalent sequence for creating a project, case, and task.
Changing a staging list affects the rows submitted through that list. It does not update or delete records already created.
When Changes Apply
View changes apply when a form is loaded. Changes to FSM Mobile configuration apply when the updated configuration is loaded. Previously submitted background creation requests are separate from these display controls.
