Resubmitting Records for Approval
Take note of the following when resubmitting records for approval:

You can resubmit rejected records only.

The transaction creator and users with access, except the current approver, can update and resubmit the record.

The user who originally submitted the record can’t be an approver.
The following procedure only applies to journal entries, purchase orders, requisitions, sales orders, and vendor bills. For engineering change order, see Resubmitting Engineering Change Orders for Approval.
To resubmit a transaction record for approval:

Open the list page for the record you want to view:

Journal Entry – Go to Transactions > Financial > Make Journal Entries > List.

Requisition – Go to Transactions > Purchases > Enter Requisitions > List.

Purchase Order – Go to Transactions > Purchases > Enter Purchase Orders > List.

Vendor Bill – Go to Transactions > Payables > Enter Bills > List.

Sales Order – Go to Transactions > Sales > Enter Sales Orders > List.

Engineering Change Order – refer to Resubmitting Engineering Change Orders for Approval.

Click the Edit link for the transaction you want to resubmit for approval.

Enter changes as needed.

When you’re done editing, click Save.

Click Resubmit.
After the SuiteApp checks the resubmitted record, it either exits the workflow or gets routed for approval. Email notifications go to specific recipients depending on the changes made to the record and the workflow state. For more information, see Tracking Email Notifications for SuiteApprovals.
