Providing Access to Email Approval Log

Users with the following roles can approve or reject records in the NetSuite user interface and through email. A user must have the View permission to the record for approval.

By default, users with the Administrator role have access to the approval logs.

Other users must be assigned a role with at least view permissions to the email approval log. For more information, see Customizing or Creating NetSuite Roles and Assigning Roles to an Employee.

To give custom roles access to email approval log:

  1. Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles

  2. Click Edit next to the role.

  3. On the Permissions subtab, click Custom Record.

  4. From the Record list, select Email Approval Log.

  5. Set the permission level to View.

  6. Click Add, and then click Save.
