Setting Up Script Deployment for Email Approval

After you've enabled the email capture plugin and set up email approval preferences, review and deploy the following scripts:

• SAS - Email Approval Log Cleanup - If you want to remove unnecessary email approval logs, deploy this script.

• SAS Supported Records UE - If you want to use SuiteApprovals to manage Email Approval Log approvals, deploy this script.

To review the required script for email approval log cleanup:

1. Go to Customization > Scripting > Script Deployments.

2. Click Edit next to SAS - Email Approval Log Clean-up script (ID: customdeploy_sas_approval_logs_cleanup).

3. On the Schedule subtab, complete the following fields:

   • Daily Event - If you want to keep this setting, leave this option selected.

   • Repeat every day(s) - If you want the frequency set to one day, leave this field as is. Change it if you want a different frequency.

   • Start Time - Select 12:00 am.

   • No End Date - Check this box.

4. Click Save.

To deploy the required script for email approval log:

1. Go to Customization > Scripting > Scripts.

2. Click View next to SAS Supported Records UE script.

3. Click the Deploy Script button.

4. On the Script Deployment page, complete the following fields:

   1. Applies To - Select Email Approval Log.

   2. ID - Enter a unique ID for the deployment.

   3. Status - Select Released.

   4. Execute as Role - Select Administrator.

5. On the Audience subtab, check the Select All box for Roles.

6. Click Save.
