Editing Goals
As an employee, you're the only one who can edit your own goals. If your manager hasn't approved a goal yet, you can change the goal's name and details. You can only change your goal's status after your manager approves it
To edit your goals:

From the home screen of your Employee Center role, go to Talent > Goals.

Click the goal you want to change.

Do any of the following:

If your manager has approved your goal, you can update its status. To update your goal's status, select one of the following from the Status field:

Planned - The initial status for goals that you create.

In Progress - You are ready to start working on the goal. When you set a goal with a performance metric to In Progress, the Actual field updates with your goal's actual value.

Completed - The goal is completed.

Not Completed - The goal wasn't finished by the target date. If you can keep working on it, update the target date to give yourself more time.

Canceled - The goal was canceled (for example, it is no longer relevant).
Tip:On the Goals page, drag the goal into a status column to update its status. You can also reorder goals in a column to match your priorities.

To add an Area of Focus from a goal, click the dropdown menu and select the area of focus. To remove an Area of Focus from a goal, click X in the dropdown menu.
Note:When you edit an area of focus, the changes are reflected on all goals that are linked to the area of focus.

To change the start date or target completion date of the goal, enter new dates in the Start Date or Target Completion Date fields.

To indicate how you feel about the status of your goal, select a Mood:

On Track – You're on track to reach your goal.

Behind – You're behind on your goal.

At Risk – You're at risk of missing your goal.

To edit the details of your goal, you can use Text Enhance to generate new goal details, clean up the goal details, or make the goal details longer or shorter. To use Text Enhance, click the Text Enhance icon beside the Details field.

To change the performance tracking method for your goal, choose either Manual or Performance Metric.

To change the format for a manually tracked goal, from the Format list, select a format.

To change the performance metric of your goal, from the Performance Metric list, select a performance metric.

To change the value you completed when your goal started, in the Start field, enter a number.

To change the value you want to achieve, in the Target field, enter a number.

To update the actual value of your goal, in the Actual field, enter a number.
If you're using a performance metric to track the actual value of your goal, you can't enter a number here.

When you finish editing, click Save.
