Employee Self Permission Overview

The Employee Self permission is intended for all employees. Roles that have this permission can view basic personal information on their employee record. Basic personal information includes things such as home address, and passport information. When you enable the Advanced Employee Permissions feature, NetSuite automatically assigns this permission to the Employee Center role. By default, the access level for this permission is set to View, and the restriction is set to Own Only, but you can make changes. Note:

Users are not able to view or edit future or past-dated changes to their employee information if they have an assigned role with this permission.
