SuitePeople SuiteApps

This release note was updated July 13, 2026.

Following are the 2026.1 SuitePeople enhancements to SuiteApps:

Employee Directory Role and Script Changes

Employee Directory 1.07.7 introduces the Employee Directory Search Service role, which aligns the SuiteApp permissions with the current requirements for Employee Directory searches.

The role includes only the permissions required to search information about employees, employee records, departments, locations, and subsidiaries. This role doesn't include broader administrative permissions.

Existing Employee Directory installations are updated automatically when the SuiteApp is updated to version 1.07.7 or later. For most customers, no action is required.

If you have the Administrator role, you can review the script deployment and role assignment to verify the update. For more information, see the help article Updating Required Scripts for the Employee Directory and Org Browser.

SuitePeople Workforce Management Enhancements

As of 2026.1, the following enhancements are available with the SuitePeople Workforce Management (WFM) SuiteApp:

Visual Updates for WFM Mobile Apps

The NetSuite Workforce Management and NetSuite Time Clock mobile apps version 2.9.0 are now available for WFM customers in Google Play and Apple App stores.

This upgrade introduces issue fixes and display improvements, as follows:

  • NetSuite Workforce Management - Fixes a potential display issue related to Android 15 changes

  • NetSuite Time Clock - Displays the activation code on the About page. This change helps you quickly access the code when reactivating a new installation.

If automatic updates are enabled on your device, each app will be automatically updated when the new version becomes available. Otherwise, you'd need to update them manually.

Performance and Security Updates for SuitePeople Time Clock for Windows

SuitePeople Time Clock for Windows version 2.0.2.0 is available for Workforce Management users. This version includes the following enhancements:

  • Installer Visual Updates - This version uses the Oracle NetSuite logo and branding on the title bar, taskbar, and setup window icons of the Windows installer.

  • Security Updates - This version includes updates that are designed to address security and compliance considerations, enhance installer security, and improve overall performance.

  • Removal of Version Rollback - This version prevents rolling back to AdiClock and ensures you are using the latest version of Time Clock.

  • Manual Restart After Version Update - This version introduces an additional step that you need to perform after a version update. Previously, changes took effect automatically after you installed an update. Now, you need to manually restart Windows for the changes to take effect. This requirement protects session and data integrity by ensuring your work isn't interrupted during the update process. It also makes sure the employee in charge of the device is aware of the update.
