Set Button Security
As an administrator, you can customize the individual NetSuite POS features that each group can access by editing the Resource ID set up for a button function. A Resource ID is the code identifying a resource level. By default, the levels are:

To set Button Security:

Sign in to any NetSuite POS register as an administrator (9090 level operator).

Press Ctrl+F12 on the keyboard to open the Function List.

Enter Button Edit in the search field.

Tap Button Edit.

Tap Main (bottom) or Side and then tap Pages.

Tap a Button Page and then tap Buttons.

Select the button.

For the button Function, tap the edit icon.

Tap Yes to proceed.

Enter the desired Resource ID or tap the Browse button to search for it.
Note:If the Resource ID shows a red icon and a gray field, tap the red icon to switch to edit mode.

Tap Done and close the window as needed.
