Creating a Campaign Email Address Record

Campaign email addresses can appear in the From field of your marketing email and can receive replies to your marketing email.

Before you send email campaign events, you must validate the email address you want to use.

To create a campaign email address record:

  1. Go to Setup > Sales & Marketing Automation > Email Addresses > New.

  2. On the Campaign Email Address page, enter the email address you want to use.

  3. If you check the Private box, only the person that entered this campaign email address record can:

    • View this email address record

    • Assign this email address to email templates

  4. Click Save.

When you save the email record, NetSuite sends an authorization code to the email address. Before you can use this email address, you must enter the authorization code in the campaign email address record.

To validate an email address:

  1. Go to Setup > Sales & Marketing Automation > Email Addresses.

  2. Click Edit next to the email address you want to validate.

  3. In the Authentication Code field, enter the code included in the email NetSuite sent when you saved the record.

  4. Click Save.

You can select a validated email address on campaign email templates to serve as the From address, the Reply to address, or both.

After you create a target group, upload an email template, and validate your marketing email addresses, you can create email marketing campaigns.
