Order Release: Order Stops

This page is accessed via Order Management > Order Release > Order Release with Stops. Click the Order Stops tab.

Use this page to define shipment stops for an order release.

Note: Stops do not include the origin or final destination of an order release. No more than 97 stops can be added to an order release.

Setting up Parameters

When planning a multi-stop order, OTM disregards your settings for the parameters listed here.  Instead, OTM uses TRUE values or 99 in case of the MULTISTOP MAXIMUM SEGMENTS PER SHIPMENT parameter. These parameters are part of parameters sets or logic configuration.  

Creating a Shipment Stop

  1. After the Order Release tab has been completed, click Order Stops.
  2. Enter a number in the Stop Seq field. For example, use 10 for the first stop, 20 for the second, etc. so that additional stops may be inserted at a later time if necessary.
  3. Enter a stop location in the Location ID field.
  4. If desired, use the Early and Late Arrival Time fields to record arrival information.
  5. If the stop is to occur an a specific leg on a multi-leg shipment, select the leg position from the Leg Position drop-down list.
  6. Use the appointment check boxes to record appointment information. Note that these check boxes are informational only.
  7. Use the Remarks section to associate any remark qualifier information with the stop. Click Save after entering any remark information.
  8. Use the Special Services section to record any special services information associated with the stop. Click Save after entering any special service information. A special service you enter here is specific to this stop only.
  9. Click Save at the bottom of the page when you are finished adding a stop.
