Charge Type
Oracle Revenue Management and Billing enables you to indicate whether the billable charge is created for the premium, fees, down payment, taxes, or commission. This is possible through specifying the charge type for the billable charge. In other words, the charge type indicates the type of the billable charge. You can create both recurring and non recurring billable charges for all types of charges. However, you can specify a charge type while creating a billable charge for a contract when the charge type is linked to the contract type using which the contract is created. You can link a charge type to more than one contract type.
The Charge Type screen allows you to define, edit, and delete a charge type. It consists of the following zone:
