Search Accrual

The Search Accrual zone allows you to search for an accrual. It contains the following two sections:

  • Search Criteria - The Search Criteria section contains the following fields:

    Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Search By Used to indicate whether you want to search for an accrual using the accrual details. The valid value is:
    • Accrual Details

    Not applicable
    Account ID Used to indicate whether you want to search for accruals belonging to a particular account.
    Note: The Search (The Search Icon) icon appears corresponding to this field. On clicking the Search icon, the Account Search window appears where you can specify the account whose accrual details you want to view.

    Division Used to indicate whether you want to search for accruals associated with a particular division.
    Note: You can only view those divisions to which you have access in the Division list.

    Accrual Type Used to search for accruals which are created using a particular accrual type. No
    Posting Method Used to indicate whether you want to search for accruals which are calculated at a particular level. The valid values are:
    • Bill Level - Used to indicate whether you want to search for accruals whose bill segments and adjustments of bills are calculated at the bill level.

    • Bill Distribution Code Level - Used to indicate whether you want to search for accruals whose bill segments and adjustments of bills are calculated at the distribution code level.

    • Price Item Level - Used to indicate whether you want to search for accruals whose bill segments and adjustments of bills are calculated at the at the price item level.

    • Price Item Distribution Code Level - Used to indicate whether you want to search for accruals whose bill segments of a particular price item are calculated at the distribution code level.

    Accrual Cycle Used to search for accruals which are created using a particular accrual cycle. No
    Creation Date From Used to indicate whether you want to search for accruals which are created from a particular date onwards. No
    Accrual Creation Mode Used to indicate whether you want to search for accruals which are created using a particular mode. The valid values are:
    • Batch - Used to indicate whether you want to search for accruals which are created in the system using the batch mode.

    • Manual - Used to indicate whether you want to search for accruals which are created manually in the system.

    Creation Date To Used to search accruals which are created till a particular date. No
    Status Used to search for accruals with a particular status. The valid values are:
    • Ready For Accrual

    • Accrued

    • Reversed

    • Approval In Progress

    • Cancelled

    • Draft

    • Ignore

    • Processed

    • Rejected

    Note: You must specify at least one search criterion while searching for an accrual.
  • Search Results - On clicking the Search button, the search results appear based on the specified search criteria. The Search Results section contains the following columns:

    Column Name Column Description
    Accrual Information Displays the concatenated string of information about the accrual separated by a comma (,).
    Note: It has a link. On clicking the link, the Accrual screen appears where you can view the details of the respective accrual.
    Division Indicates the division to which the accrual account belongs.
    Accrual Type Indicates the accrual type using which the accrual is created for the account in the system.
    Posting Method Indicates the level at which the accrual is calculated for the account.
    Accrual Creation Mode Indicates the creation mode using which the accrual is created for the account in the system.
    Status Displays the current status of the accrual.
    Create Date/Time Displays the date and time when the accrual is created is created in the system.
    Note: Pagination is used to display limited number of records in the Search Results section. You can use the navigation links, such as Previous and Next to navigate between pages.
